UTS Union
The UTS Union web site has been redeveloped to bring the site into a more flexible and easy to use content management environment, Site Manager. The new site allows the Union to manage content dynamically with a set of newly developed publishing modules accessed within Site Manager for publishing and archiving news, events, specials, "promos" and "featurettes". Events entered for listing within the What's on and Things to do sections of the Union site can also be automatically set to appear on the new UTS Events calendar for publication.
Specially developed new content such as the clickable floorplan info maps and the online version of the A-Z guide provide innovative options for exploring site content about union facilities and services such as the retail shops, food outlets and bars.
A new "one-stop" subscription page for union mailing lists (managed by the UTS listserver) enables students to select individual mailing lists for subscription, enter their email address once and be subscribed for announcements about a variety of new content. Mailouts include links back to content pages of the site for further information.
