One Stop Student Admin
One Stop Student Administration was commissioned by the UTS Registrar's division to provide current students with a "one stop" gateway to personalised online services currently available to students at UTS. The available online services require personalised logins and during the course of the project several of these were redeveloped to utilise one unified LDAP authentification. One Stop Student Administration also provides Student Administration with a conduit for communicating information to current students about available online services or administration matters via a news and announcements area.
The three major areas of One Stop Student Administration are:
- Access to... providing access to students' academic program, assessment results, requests for changing address, requesting notices, class timetables.
- Study with... providing access to online study services such as UTS Online, library record logins and logins to personal library supersearch
- Communicate with... providing access to online communication resources such as UTS email and contact information for Student Administration.
The project will continue to create access to online personalised interactive services at UTS as they become available.
