APPIN

Produced by IML for external client the Asia Pacific Philanthropy Consortium (APPC). The Asia Pacific Philanthropy Information Network (APPIN) was initiated by the APPC, with funding from the Nippon Foundation, to make contemporary information about philanthropy and the third sector in the Asia Pacific region available, and to build stronger networks between researchers in the field. The site is a collaborative project presently involving eight countries, and in future more countries from the region will participate. Back-end databases allow regional researchers to submit information about their research and expertise to the site. The site was launched in early 2001.
