About this Site

Welcome

This e-learning resource is built upon exploring and explaining the questions that students asked and the comments they made in the 2004 UTSOnline student survey. These thoughts and questions, voiced by students, can be heard on each page of this site.

In particular, students talked about wanting to learn more about using UTSOnline:

‘Some of the questions asked in this survey suggest that there are services provided in UTSOnline that I am not using because I do not know about these services. Hence more information about UTSOnline would enable me to use UTSOnline for more things. However this information would have to be presented as briefly as possible as I am quite busy.’

‘Actually USE all of its functionality - e.g. I didn't know (until this survey) that we could actually use UTSOnline to share our group assignment work, or submit assignments.’

‘eager to learn how this UTSOnline WORKS’

‘I didn't even know that you could interact with other students through UTSOnline until I did this survey. Maybe I'm ignorant...maybe there should be an intro to UTSOnline that lets all students know what potential it has. I think this would be valuable seeing as how it is so accessible.’

Whilst continuing to develop the e-learning@UTSOnline site based on the student survey responses, we also invite you to give feedback, to make suggestions and to ask your pressing questions, for these will drive the design and development of the site over time.
