Fees
In December each year, faculties are asked to recommend fee levels for existing courses for the year following the upcoming year. Tuition fee amounts for existing courses must not vary between the DEST publication dates of
1 April and 1 October each year.
In order to create a new fee outside the annual fee setting process, faculties must complete and submit the Fee registration form (PDF 128 kB) to SAU Fees.
Faculties should allow sufficient time for the fee approval process which involves consideration of the change to fees by the Fees Revenue Management Committee for recommendation to the Vice-Chancellor. The Vice-Chancellor makes the final decision and once final, SAU Fees updates the data in CASS. The new fee then appears on the Fees website.
