Admission requirements

The University's requirements for admission into all award courses are detailed in the UTS Student and Related Rules, section 5 and in the UTS Admissions Policy.

Specific requirements for admission to a particular award course are approved when the proposal for that award course is first approved for offer.

Requests for changes to the admission criteria of an existing award course are submitted to the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor via the APO. The Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor either approves the change or directs the change for approval by the Academic Administration Committee. The APO advises stakeholders of the results and the details are placed on the course file.

Outlined in the flowchart below are the general steps required for changing the admission requirements of an existing course.
