Impact of higher education research
Governments around the world are interested in determining the impact of research that they publicly fund. Many countries are now asking for an indication of the impact of the research before committing research grants. The nature of higher education research, and the fact that it is a relatively new field, has made it particularly difficult to judge its impact of higher education research by traditional impact measures.
