SimAssessment is an assessment simulator that allows you to redesign and test your assessment plan

The assessment pattern of a subject sends a powerful message to students. It is an important source of cues that students use to find out what they must do to succeed in your subject.

SimAssessment is an assessment simulator developed by IML to provide you with an opportunity to see how a change in the assessment pattern of your subject can affect the way students engage with subject content.

The simulator assigns users a random mixture of different types of students for each class. All the students in this simulator are highly assessment-driven, so extreme decisions on the part of the users can spark quite dramatic responses.

The goal is for you to get as many students as possible in the class to adopt a deep approach to their learning. Setting the appropriate balance of course goals, student workload and feedback is all part of the challenge.
